Description

Vineyard Region: Victoria
Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol: 5.3%
Colour: The wine is beautifully clean with a light straw colour and some youthful green tinges.
Aroma: The nose is lifted with aromas of musk, citrus and freshly crushed grapes.
Palate: In the mouth, the wine is alive with a vibrant and mouth-filling sherbet flavour. The retained natural carbon dioxide from fermentation gives a mild frizzante effect resulting in a lively and fresh wine.
Peak Drinking: Until 2021

Recommended food pairings: This versatile wine is an ideal accompaniment to any occasion whether it is served with or without food; as an aperitif or table wine. Try it with a platter of soft cheese and fresh slices of Granny Smith apple. Or for something different, Brown Brothers Moscato is fantastic with Vietnamese rice paper rolls. The aromatic lift of Moscato complements the spices while the sweetness balances the chilli heat.

Growing Conditions: This wine is made from Muscat of Alexandria grapes. The grapes were harvested from mid-February to late March 2019 at baumés ranging from 10.0 to 13.3.

Winemaker: Cate Looney

Winemaking notes: The wine was bottled soon after fermentation with an alcohol of 5.3%, a pH of 3.24 and an acid level of 5.4 g/L.
